# How subscribing works

From choosing a service to your first payment — the whole journey, step by step.

Getting started with Some Dude Solutions is simple: pick a service, sign up
online, and we take it from there. Nothing is charged until your service is
actually set up and live.

## 1. Choose a service and sign up

Browse [services](/services), pick the one you want, and check out online.
During checkout you will:

- Create an account (or sign in) so you can manage everything later.
- Add a billing address and save a card on file. **Your card is not charged
  at checkout** — it's just stored securely with our payment processor for
  later.
- Sign your subscription agreement electronically.

## 2. We review your subscription

Every new subscription gets a quick review from our team before it goes
live — we're just confirming your details and that everything's in order.
We'll reach out if we need anything else from you.

## 3. Getting set up

What happens next depends on the service:

- **Rank-and-rent sites** — we confirm the site and get your business's
  leads routing to you.
- **AI tools** — we configure the tool for your business and get you
  access.
- **Websites** — we kick off the build (or point your domain at what's
  already live).
- **AI consulting** — we schedule your first session.

Most services start with a short onboarding call to confirm the details and

## 4. Your first payment happens once you're live

This is the part people like most: **billing starts once your service is
actually up and running, not the day you sign up.** Once everything's in
place, your first payment is charged to the card on file and your monthly
billing cycle begins.

## 5. Ongoing subscription

After that, your subscription renews automatically every month:

- Your card on file is charged on your billing date.
- You get an emailed receipt for every payment.
- You can view your subscriptions, invoices, and payments any time in
  [your account](/account).
